By downloading, accessing, subscribing to, or using One Line, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Terms of Use
These terms describe the rules for using One Line and the subscription that unlocks One Line Pro. Last updated May 4, 2026.
By downloading, accessing, subscribing to, or using One Line, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
One Line is a passage memorization app. You are responsible for the passages and other content you add to your account, and you agree to use the app only in a lawful and respectful way.
You represent that you have all rights needed to add, store, read, record, and practice the passage text and other content you use with the app. You may not use One Line to store or share unlawful, infringing, harmful, abusive, or otherwise improper content.
You are responsible for maintaining access to your account, device, Apple account, and any sign-in credentials. You are also responsible for keeping independent backup copies of passage text, notes, recordings, and other content that is important to you.
One Line may store or sync user content to provide app functionality, but we do not guarantee that any content, progress, subscription state, recording, or account data will always be available, accurate, recoverable, uninterrupted, or free from loss.
One Line offers optional monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions for One Line Pro. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by country or region.
Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Subscription features, limits, pricing, and included benefits may change over time, to the extent permitted by Apple rules and applicable law. App Store subscription billing, refunds, family sharing, taxes, renewals, cancellations, and payment issues are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings. If you cancel, you keep access to subscribed features until the end of the current billing period.
The app includes a Restore Purchases option so you can refresh your subscription status on a device using the same Apple account.
We may update, improve, limit, suspend, remove, replace, or discontinue any part of One Line at any time, including free features, Pro features, passage limits, sync functionality, support for operating systems or devices, and backend services.
We may also delete, migrate, disable, or reconfigure app infrastructure, databases, dashboards, accounts, third-party integrations, or administrative systems. These actions may interrupt or permanently affect access to the app or your data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Line is not liable for any resulting loss, unavailability, corruption, or inability to recover data or app functionality.
One Line is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, security, and error-free operation.
We do not warrant that One Line will meet your needs, improve memorization results, operate without interruption, preserve data, prevent unauthorized access, or be free from bugs, vulnerabilities, defects, harmful code, third-party failures, or data loss.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Line and its owner, operators, affiliates, service providers, and representatives will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, content, recordings, profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or use, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, statute, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to One Line or these terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for One Line during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD $10. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
You understand that software, devices, networks, databases, cloud services, app stores, and third-party providers can fail or be compromised. To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Line is not responsible for bugs, crashes, downtime, synchronization errors, unauthorized access, hacking, security incidents, lost or corrupted data, deleted content, failed backups, failed restores, or other events outside our reasonable control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless One Line and its owner, operators, affiliates, service providers, and representatives from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your content, your use or misuse of the app, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Your use of One Line from the App Store is also subject to Apple's terms, including Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement unless a separate agreement applies.
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of One Line after changes means you accept the updated terms.
